The TRAN Committee of the European Parliament has approved on 4 October the draft report on AFIR the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation.
UETR welcomes the approval of minimum mandatory targets for Member States on the deployment of the infrastructure and the need to present national plans by 2024 on how to achieve it.
The EP Plenary session will now have to vote the common position and start negotiations with the Council.
