On the 1 st of September 2022, UETR Secretary General Marco Digioia intervened in the ACEA-ESPORG first workshop on alternative charging infrastructure at truck parking areas.
On behalf of UETR, Mr. Digioia intervened in the panel discussion bringing up the need to create an ecosystem and alliance to address issues and challenges together and make alternative fuels infrastructure in the EU happen.
Only in a workable and affordable operational environment road transport companies can be actors for change, embracing successfully their role in the ecological transition.
As main outcome of the event, all participants agreed to set up an “E-Parking Task Force” which will have its kick-off meeting on the 6 th of October in Brussels.
